Andes Mountains – Peru 2013

I always count it such a privilege to share this wonderful gospel. I thank the Lord for such a wonderful church that heeds the call of Christ to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. The trip to Vilcas Huaman, Peru was incredible and it was a blessing getting to work alongside Pastor Gustavo and members from his church in Lima, Peru. The church in Vilcas Huaman was hungry for the Word. The town sits on the ruins of an ancient Incan temple. Vilcas Huaman suffered terrorism in the past from a communist insurgent group that persecuted Christians and killed pastors.

God used us in many ways to encourage and edify the church. God also opened up many opportunities to share the gospel. We were able to preach the gospel in the main town square. Even as we walked through the town, God provided opportunities to preach the gospel. We shared the gospel with several shopkeepers and a young man gave his heart to the Lord. Even on a cab ride making my way back home, God opened the door for me to share the gospel with the taxi driver and the three other passengers in the car. At the end of my ride, the cab driver was weeping. I was able to pray with him to ask Christ into his heart. What a wonderful gospel changing lives!

We always count it such a privilege to share this wonderful gospel to a lost and dying world. The church in Vilcas Huaman was very hungry for the word of God. The town sits on the ruins of an ancient Incan temple. Vilcas Huaman suffered terrorism in the past from a communist insurgent group that persecuted Christians and killed pastors. God was able by the Holy Ghost to use me and Pastor Gustavo in a very anointed way to minister to the pastors, leaders, and church members, testimonies came saying they will never be the same. Chris and Felix were given the opportunity to minister to the youth that were very hungry to know more about Jesus and some got saved. Alberto also very anoint of God had the privilege to minister and interpret, what a wonderful gift from God. The Lord used us all in many ways to encourage and edify the church.

God also opened up many opportunities to share the gospel. We were able to preach the gospel in the main town square in which many came to receive the salvation of our Lord. Afterwards we were told that the last Pastors preached there in the main town square twenty years ago, and they were killed. What a privilege to be the next to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ! Even as we walked through the town, God provided many opportunities to preach the gospel. We shared the gospel with several shopkeepers and a young man of one of the shops gave his heart to the Lord.

On this trip we witnessed the Lord bring healing, baptize many people with the Holy Ghost, and save a multitude of young and old people. One little boy in the service we laid hands for healing was healed, then I preached the Gospel to him and he began to weep and gave his life to the Jesus. As Alberto was on a cab ride making his way back home, God opened the door for him to share the gospel with the taxi driver and the three other passengers. At the end the cab driver was weeping and asked Jesus into his heart. What a wonderful gospel, changing lives!

Thank you Church for your support of the great commission, there are rewards stored in heaven for us to bring to Jesus, because He is the one who did it all!!!! Lets Praise Him together right now for the great things He has done and will continue
