I want no blood on my hands

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked (the unbeliever), Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. (Ezekiel 3:17-18)."

We as believers have been given a great responsibility to the lost world around us. Jesus said to every believer in Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Also in 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Paul says; “ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (The preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Therefore, every believer becomes responsible to tell others, beginning with family, friends, and neighbors, and to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Jesus also said in Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."  Our responsibility begins at home and then reaches out to the world. Paul says, "Woe unto me, if I preach not the gospel (I Corinthians 9:16)."  The believer will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ (I Corinthians 3:11-15) and he shall suffer loss for not ministering the gospel with the world God put around him. Paul said he was ready at all times. Are you? (Romans 1:14-16).

You say, but what if people don’t come to Jesus?  God says we are no longer responsible once we have told them.  "Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul (Ezekiel 3:19)."The Apostle Paul could say, "Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men (Acts 20:26)." Notice in Acts 20:20-21, Paul says; "And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house, testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." And verse 27 "For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God."  Paul did not shun his responsibility; therefore, Paul could say, "I am pure from the blood of all men."

Church can we make this same statement in all honesty? I want to challenge you and also exhort you, that God has given us the responsibility and the ability to be a living testimony and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now step out in faith and hide not yourself from the world around you and in the end, rewards will be given to lay at the feet of Jesus. FOR THOU ARE WORTHY OH LORD!!!

Don’t be fearful, for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love and power and a sound mind!!!!!
