TOTALITARIAN RULERS

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
Totalitarian rulers have sired disciples who have the art of rebuke rather than the sacrifice of love. They are skilled in faultfinding … not redemption! They have learned separation and called it holiness, but it is not holiness … it is just separation.   These totalitarian leaders and the disciples they have sired have massacred multitudes with the “letter” of the Word as they established their brutish customs by claiming to be God’s holy envoys.   Oh dear one – save people from this ungodly corruption. Oh dear one – let the abused who run to our churches looking for the...

There is Power

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
Though the world rarely takes the church seriously, there is a power within the Church that no other can rival. Men look at believers and see weakness. They see foolishness. Yet, unbeknown to them God is hiding the most powerful weapons known to man within those believers. Soon God is going to unleash that weapon upon the nations. This power will not be for the destruction of man, for he is not the enemy we fight. Rather, it will bring a devastating blow to Satan and the lies by which he has deceived the nations....

A WORK OF GRACE

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
In my prayer time I heard this and wanted to share it with you.   A work of Grace is the Holy Spirit coming into your life and "dis-gracing" your "SELF."  The highest holiness for the creature is to walk in self-renunciation and continual dependence upon the indwelling Holy Ghost. Nothing but a work of Grace can take the man, who once wanted to be like God, to now renounce himself as a complete "disgrace" and believe that only God is good and God is great and greatly to be praised!...

I SAW A LAMB

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
Jesus is a beautiful Savior! No one will outshine Him. No one will exceed Him. No one will share in His Glory.        WHY? Because He won't let it happen? It is not a matter of pride. It is not because of His decree or by order of the King. It is because of His essence!    Nothing exudes His Glory like Him!      No love is like His Love!   By the time John wrote Revelation, all the Apostles had been brutally killed.  As he wrote to the persecuted souls, he felt no need to write about the Apostles! Caught...

A.B. Simpson on faith

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
in my morning readings, i have been reading A. B. Simpson's book, "Friday Meeting Talks".  A. B. Simpson was the founder of the Missionary Alliance and had a tremendous effect upon A. W. Tozer.  Any way, i thought you would be very encouraged on some of his comments on faith:   Faith does not show what a man you are, but what a God you have.   [God] puts us in situations where we must take a great deal [meaning:  God wants us to believe Him for exceptionally great things], and He is disappointed when we fail to do so.  ...

My appreciation of Jim Cymbala

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
I would like to express my deep and respectful appreciation to Pastor Jim Cymbala, of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church in New York.  He recently held a leaders conference in Baton Rouge.  I was so impressed by the anointing on his life and his genuine concern for God's glory and work in the world for the sake of Christ.  There is a musical video he desires for all men to see, all over the world.  You can visit the website of the Brooklyn Tabernacle and find it there - the title of it is:  PRAY!   I pray this Sunday you...

FEAR NOT...

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
It is very interesting to consider all  the times God has told man, "Fear Not!"  Man has never understood God nor His gracious intentions ... at least not until God became man and dwelt among us in the person of His dear Son - Jesus. When Jesus was born, the Father announced it with, "Fear not..."  Now the full expression of God would walk upon this earth, and absent of types and shadows, He would be fully disclosed in Jesus.  How God feels and longs for sinners, how God feels about children, God's attitude regarding a woman's high value, His compassion...

Testimony from Ireland

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
Recently i was so honored to minister to a suffering church in Ireland.  There i witnessed one of the greatest and gracious moves of God in my life.  It was so amazing and so quick that the Lord moved and healed that the services were filled with celebration and worship! The pastors wife wrote one of the most beautiful testimonies from these meetings.     Here is her testimony:   When a severe storm sweeps through an area we have often seen the news footage of the devastation of the aftermath that follows such a violent storm. People emerge disorientated, dazed...

What a Great Year

Posted by on in Pastor Lee Shipp's Blog
Thank you Jesus and partners of A Call To The Heart!  We have ministered to Pastors and leaders in Peru, Serbia, Croatia, Hungry, and Chile where we witnessed 100’s filled with the Holy Spirit, healed from sickness and disease, and strengthened in their faith.   Besides the numerous places we have preached in the United States, we have also traveled to the Dominican Republic, Northern Ireland, and Southern Ireland.  In these places I witnessed the most amazing moves of God in all my life!  I saw God come to His hungry people with love, healing, and revival power.   My dear...
